So this is a really cool concept, BuiltBy allows you to customize your own lamps online. Pick your own colors, woods and proportions. Make solids or stripes, but just have fun with it! They have a very user-friendly "click and drag" template on their website - I made my own lamp (see screen-capture below) Custom prices are calculated after finishing your lamp, mine came to $182. And if you can't decide, just choose one of their stocked options. But what impressed me the most was that they are also eco-friendly. They use no-VOC paint (volatile organic compounds) and reclaimed wood - how enlightening!
